Fr. Longmire came to ACA in 2007 with a background in ministry, education and business. He teaches dialectic and rhetoric students in the areas of English Composition, mathematics (5th grade through calculus), Logic, Science, Theology, English Bible, and Chapel Instruction. He currently serves as Rector of Covenant Reformed Episcopal Church in Roanoke, Virginia and also as Dean of the Convocation of Virginia representing Bishop Leonard Riches and Bishop David Hicks. He is Warden of New Covenant Schools in Lynchburg and one of three Reformed Episcopal clergy serving on that board. As Chief of Chaplains for the Virginia Defense Force, Col. Longmire is responsible for the recruiting and training of an expanding Chaplain Corps. He is married and has four daughters.
Mrs. Jeanette Brady

Owner Joyful Noise - private music lessons, voice and guitar lessons
Mrs. Brady has served in music education for over 20 years, providing in-services for pre-K and early elementary educators on the importance of music in early childhood development. At ACA, she instructs the Junior-Kindergarten, first and second grade students in all subjects, including Latin, and all students in music theory, percussion, poetry and drama. She is co-teacher for all grades in art.

Mrs. Stacey Torrence
Classical Scholar/ Instructor (2 - 5 grades)
B.S. Liberal Arts, concentration in Special Education and Science, Radford, University, 1996 Spalding Instructor, certification 1997
Mrs. Torrence has extensive experience in classical education having taught at New Covenant Schools in Lynchburg. In addition to her classroom experience, She has also coordinated and provided instruction for Home School students. Mrs. Torrence is married to Micah Torrence and they have four children, three of whom attend ACA. Mrs. Torrence is the curriculum consultant for ACA and instructs grammar and dialectic students in the Riggs Writing and Spelling Road to Reading and Thinking, Latin, Science and History.
Miss Linda Binns

Miss Binns provides instruction to grammar students in grades two through four, and Latin instruction to third and fourth year students.
Mrs. April Bilton
Classical Scholar/Instructor (6 - 12 grades)
Bachelor of Music, Liberty University, 2007
Mrs. Bilton joined the ACA staff in the fall of 2008 as an instructor to dialectic students. In addition to Latin, science and history, she co-teaches art and music to dialectic students, including chamber ensemble. Prior to joining ACA, Mrs. Bilton served as the district instructor of the Lynchburg Area Private Schools. She has also been involved in the American Independent Music Association. While a student at Liberty University, she was Field Commander of the Liberty University Marching Band.
Bryan Baine
Librarian
ACA school board member
Bryan worked for 7 years in the film library at American University in Washington, DC and has been published in serveral library science journals. He taught for 6 years in the American University literature department and received the Jane Stanhope Award for Outstanding Teaching in 2000. He was on Young Life staff from 1986 to 1992. Young Life is a nondenominational ministry to high school students in Saranac Lake, NY.
