Appomattox Christian Academy welcomes our new Headmaster

We are pleased to welcome the Rev. Rodney Longmire, Presbyter in the Reformed Episcopal Church, as our new Headmaster. Rev. Longmire is the Rector of Covenant Church in Roanoke, Va., where he lives with his family. He is also the Dean of the Virginia Convocation of the REC, and serves as Head Chaplain for the Virginia Defense Force.  Additionally, he currently serves as secretary of the School Board of New Covenant School in Lynchburg.

Rev. Longmire comes to us with a distinguished record of service in the Anglican church and of classical academics. We are excited to have him lead our Christian trivium/quadrivium school as we continue our growth through the 2008-09 school year!
